At the beginning of the 1960s, in Parisian clubs of the Latin Quarter and Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Serge Alzetta dances jazz on live music from Sydney Bechet, Maxim Saury, Marc Laferrière, Memphis Slim, Claude Luter...

Granted with an original training which associates choreographic art and martial art, theater and mime, yoga and psychomotor activity, he is however a performer in contemporary dancing when he discovers the classes of Gene Robinson (dancer in the Katherine Dunham Company) and understands that his sensitivy and character bring him back undoubtedly to jazz dancing.

From that moment on, he works with the first American masters invited in France and the encounter with Matt Mattox is determinant. In favor of an international career, incessant pilgrimages to the USA nourish his jazz culture. In 1978, second handed by his dauther Patricia, he founds his own company in Paris.

Dancer, he is an ambassador for jazz dancing numerous times, notably beside the greatest performers of classical dancing (especially the Stars of the Paris Opera).

Choreographer, member of the Dramatic Authors and Composers Company, he answers to all the demands of the show business: theater, festivals, television, music-hall, cabaret, cruises, commercial incentives, fashion...

Trainer, titular of the Aptitude Certificate in highter studies teaching of the Ministery of Culture, he elaborates a jazz dancing pedagogy which allies harminiously style and performance.
He teaches at the School of Musical of the Casino de Paris, at the Princess Grace Academy of Mpnte Carlo, at the Nice University.
He is in charge of the technical jazz classes and jazz pedagogy at the Ecole Supérieure de Danse Cannes Rosella Hightower.

He writes for "Danser" magazine an anecdotic chronicle about jazz dancing from which the show "Jazzily yours" is inspired. He is artistic director of the Europeen Jazz Dancing Academy and as such, his teaching is nowadays passed on in 13 provinces of Italy.
